Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) Hey, all. I'd like to see the ability to paint stone shards white and lay down lines of them on tile borders on our own deeded land only. This would help us mark certain pathways to guide us at night. I know there are lamps we could build, but lines of white stones would make much easier pathways, and they don't need fuel, they just reflect the moon and starlight. Posted July 16, 2018 (edited) A good method might be some sorty of "glowy" reflective dye made from mushrooms+??? into some alchemyish oil that can be painted onto curbstones. OR -- maybe if we can simply make these curbstones out of MARBLE and make sure the marble curbstone have a little extra reflective-shimmer to them. OR -- imagine a new pavement, hard to make both materials and skill, maybe marble+pottery and each tile afterwards enchanted by a Mag priest, that has a "moonglow" effect at night: OR for jewelcraft, allow jewelrs to chisel "enchantable gem orbs" that, when blessed by any priest, capture the suns glow during the day and cause to glow at night (indoor outdoor decorations) Probably marble curbstones would be the easiest to implement. Posted July 17, 2018 Yup. I was thinking about a glowy dye as well. Maybe some kind of paint with silver dust that gives off a bright whitish glow, or with gold dust to give off a bright golden glow. Something to use as a way of seeing where you're walking at night that doesn't require fuel. It wouldn't be as bright a lamps, but maybe half as bright. Posted July 18, 2018 Uh, honestly not sure about this. Like Seriphina said, there are currently ingame methods to dying the curbs. Also maybe you might want to put some lamps around? If both of those are not good enough, maybe allow curbs to have a light glow rune placed on them? But again I think the first two methods are best as they are in game already.
