In-game IRC client mishandles hyphens in names

The IRC name I use is G-Flex.

 

Unfortunately, the in-game IRC client doesn't know how to properly handle the hyphen; it seems to only read the latter part of the name. Consequently, some dude on the server named "Flex" has gotten several really weird PMs (from his perspective) over the years, from people looking for me.

 

Please give this poor guy a break and fix this. He's begging you. He didn't hurt anybody!
