Posted June 29, 2018 Give the player the ability to craft a Jungle Biome Tile that can only be made through transmutation only or by a sprout harvested from this biome that is randomly occurring. This would prevent mass jungle spam and stay exclusive like the tundra biome. - The abilitiy to plant Coconut Trees (Let's face it, using cocoa beans on a nut is madness!) - The ability to plant Cocoa Plant Bush - The ability to plant Bamboo Harvesting Bamboo would be similar to felling a tree. Each cut action would give around 5kg up to 4-6 bamboo's per. This new resource could be used to make new furniture, housing walls, and stuff. Bamboo is a great resource so future updates could be developed from this. The jungle biome is very thick and dense, allow the player to harvest the grass from these tiles using a sickle, it would give a new item called "grass" not to be confused with "mixed grass" this new item can then be planted on dirt to make normal grass! Magic! It can also be turned into thatch just like mixed grass. With this new Biome, the long awaited pvp gorilla's will finally spawn in pve lands. They need a home! Thanks for your consideration. Posted June 29, 2018 (edited) In addition to gorillas, it turns out that Pandas are amazingly simple to create by a very simple reskinning of brown bears. Zebras and ocelets are also easy to reskin using horses and mountain lions. no new meshes or animations needed. I am all for bamboo since that unlocks the potential for many nice new items including beds floating houseboats baskets construction = BAMBOO BRIDGES = wall panels and we might need a all new weapon-tool, the MACHETE. Of course, I am going to want MY LEATHER WHIP for this biome. Do not think for one moment I have forgotten this dream of mine. If we have bamboo, I think we are also going to need BANANAS. Because. Probably banana bread too. >>""this new item can then be planted on dirt to make normal grass! Magic!"" Since we already can plant normal grass using thatch as seed, no magic really needed. The leggat is actually a lot faster and easier than travelling off to some jungle biome to collect some special grass. Posted June 29, 2018 +1. wouldnt a short sword be a machete? also i agree... cocoa and pineaple could grow there too... the joke with using nuts to make those was fun when it came out but its grown old. and the best jokes are the shortest ones. its now a nuisance... would this biome be limited to some parts of map or can grow everywhere? would the dense grass slow movement( it should) until its been cut? not sure where the next updates would take it...but its a nice first step... or if not making a jungle biome add pineaple and cocoa trees / bush and let gorrila spawn in the forest tiles at least. shouldnt be too much coding to be able to be done fast, and see for jungle biome migration later? or not. I was holding back suggesting a lot of what you mentioned cause for example there is no banana recipes in WO, but I think everyone would like to see banana as well. As for the new mobs, possibly but before they start adding more animals they really should go back and add proper sounds for existing ones. Posted June 29, 2018 (edited) One initial reservation I have is that wurm, from what I could tell, has been a game who's climate was influenced by Nordic and European countries, not sure if a jungle fits in with the general motif. It just seems sort of out of place. Granted there are deserts I suppose, but those only exist because sand exists and it just happened to work out over time. That's what the hard requirements are for, also I personally don't see the issue though especially after you mentioned deserts. Real vikings explored all over the world. Posted June 29, 2018 always a +1 from me for more options. Could be tied with those asked for hunting islands. Giving travelling a purpose and not having a snow filled tropical forest in winter
