Many crafting recipe still list specific metals even when others allowed

The in-game crafting recipe list shows "spear, steel" instead of simply "spear".

 

This is causing a bit of confusion in terms of what the item is allowed to be made from.

 

 

EDIT: This appears to be the case for many items with more than one step in the creation process, such as "short sword, iron" and "pickaxe, iron". Adjusting thread title accordingly.
