Posted May 11, 2018 Have been told I dont need to chop garlic for nahjo since it already provides almost the same amount of favor without chopping (unlike other veggies that provide a lot more). This is because garlic is potency 2 as opposed to 1 correct? Sac'd a 90+ ql blue mushroom which was potency 3 and got a nice chunk of favor (more than 100ql garlic) and was told the higher potency items will yield more so i'm wondering what the math is for favor based on potency if anyone knows? Thank you!
Posted May 11, 2018 Yes, Barley and Garlic at 100 ql will give you 6 favor on a Nahjo priest. A potency 1 ingredient (cotton, wemp, corn etc) will give you 3 favor. Some Nahjo priests grow herbs (Lovage, Rosemary, Nutmeg) because it gives 12 favor each.
Posted May 11, 2018 Ah, so can I assume 100ql follows the pattern of potency *3? 1=3, 2=6, 3=9, 4=12, 5=
Posted May 11, 2018 It's QL / 33 * potency = favor
Posted May 11, 2018 Wargasm is correct, chopped veggies is a straight ql / 20 favour, but nahjo (and other gods with alchemy favour) also have ql/33 * potency for healing cover items. This actually makes 90ql planter herbs better than old crops, since 90 / 33 * 4 (rosemary, lovage) = 10.9 favour per plant
