Wall + Metal Sheet = (example) Golden Wall

I really wanted to build a golden castle, so I built one from marble and bought high quality golden dye and dyed it but it just looks... to be fair, stupid. So, my idea is this:

 

Let us use plain stone walls and apply metal sheets (gold sheet, silver sheet, etc.) to it to make golden walls or whatever other metal you use. Dyes look nice on other things but on walls they're really not that great.

It sounds amazing... but I can't imagine a good looking gold wall. I can however imagine gold outlining fancy designs on a marble building, or maybe something simple like outlining windows, archs. Can you pull up an example of a "gold wall."

Maybe just planting metal sheets on walls like we can plant trellises etc (left/middle/right)

 

We have all models and mechanics, only dev effort is to allow planting for metal sheets.

 

Btw many decor should be plantable that way...
