Shield dyeing

I'm very happy for the new possibilities of dyeing, it opened many new ways of coloring.
The metal shields don't look good dyed.
The other day I have seen a dyed wooden shield, it was very pretty.




The metal shields would look better, if the edge of shield stayed metal color.

I have the quite opposite experience. Small metal shield looks awesome with any color, but plate armor (excluding helm) looks just matte and somehow dirty.

All metal shields looks like we dropped it into a barrel of dye. Even the leather strap is dyed.

+1 to keeping metal edges.  Does look better imho, and keeping the leather straps leather colored would be better as well.

Ugh, that I can agree with, although I really like that shield of mine. Let the leather straps and outlines stand out as metal.

I would like that metal edge on the shields too - colour helms look amazing now with the metal inlets.

Thanks a lot for the new dyed shield design.
The red large metal shield looks very nice ... to me maybe.

Do boys like the pink edge of shield?  (Ok, it isn't pink, it is rose color.)
