Posted March 18, 2018 (edited) Wurm can be tough, and the start up set of tools, armor, and weapons is somewhat limiting. Dying can leave players with nothing. On Independence, if you can find the chests, you can replace a lot of those items for the next month, or until supplies dwindle. There are two chests in Independence at about K 15 on the road NW from the Howl, about 30 tiles east of the sea. In them you will find tools that are not in your start up set, some tools that are, armor and weapons you don't get at start up, meditation rugs, skillets, and a few fun surprises. Most of the items are 20 to 30 QL, but some are more than that, and all of them can be improved. The kit you get when you start the game can't be improved, so when it takes damage, it can be repaired, but it will go down in Quality. Everything in these chests can be improved, so when your skill is high enough, you can improve these items higher than they are now. Please only take what you need and leave some for other players.
