[Fixed] Post Update Visual Bug On Tool Heads

Recommended Posts

This only started post-update this morning but when someone else mines it makes the pickaxe appear a bright glowing white. It only happens when other people are mining , or see me mining. E.g. it doesn't appear to be happening when I see myself mining. It's server side, not client.

It also happens with woodcutting and I assume the rest of tools/actions.

Yup, it seems the activated item the person is using will show as a bright white texture, i am getting the same thing on the epic cluster.

Refer to images below:

1st image is when i got a friend to Plant a Potato,

other images is when she was cultivating.

Played around with some more stuff and it seems it shows on every item that the character uses to do an action.

Happens on both the Linux and Windows client, stable one.

While doing an action, the item you activated and hold in your hands will not show the model just a bright white filled shape.

How to reproduce: select an item and do an action where an animation is played, like cast a spell.

I'm still seeing this after today's client update.

Can you make sure you see this on 4.0.31 or 4.1.6 (preview) client?

Should be fixed but it's possible that your client hasn't updated then yet.

My client says it's up to date, but I'm using the lowmem client, and the string is 4.0.30.

Ah, thanks, we missed the low memory client this update. Just fixed it, should be fine on restart.
