Dev team has no desire nor the realistic funds or logistics to create a sequel by rebuilding a new engine from ground up, they already confirmed that. I do not disagree a whole lot with this post. At this point it will come down to how long it takes for that switch in people's heads to finally flick of "oh, this game is not going to advance in the next ____ years. Do I still want to put time into it?" For many that answer is yes, it is entertainment after all. But for a ton of PVP'ers I know that flick of the switch means the end of their time in wurm.
