Posted February 7, 2018 Just would like a faster way for mayors to remove buildings on deed they do not own. They are large, 5+ story stone buildings and i'm burnin through large mauls xD Anyway, i see no reason for the structures to have no decay when all the bottom walls are missing for example.. why must i continue and destroy every single other piece of the building? I own the deed, I can manage the building, and even if I didnt have manage perms I've already removed the bottom walls so I have access to take whatever i please. . . I dont want to leave upkeep under 30 days just to get some decay.. but i also dont want to spend 1-2 weeks of playtime focused on taking out all these buildings piece by piece (obviously i'm going to do it.. but hopefully someone in the future wont have to)
Posted February 7, 2018 From wurmpedia, permissions: Owners of buildings that are not managed by a settlement, or mayors of settlement-managed buildings, may click on the Demolish button to completely destroy that building. This action cannot be undone.

This action cannot be undone. They aren’t settlement managed, i was just added to the buildings from the previous mayor who had manage options. The point is the owner of those buildings hasn’t logged in for months and months (they were banned I’ve been told) Just a pain that I have to destroy every. Single. Tile. . . Walls, floors, roofs . . Some are 4 actions to take it down. .

Posted February 7, 2018 I like A citizen being able to own their own buildings for security’s sake. Just dont like that removal is so painful so long after they’ve been gone. :/ I could see a counter argument for someone loggin in to find their mayor destroying their house. . But 1 wall down allows access anyway and there is nothing they could do to stop the deed owner from managing their deed afaik.
