Posted January 29, 2018 Yes, this was added a few months back. Be aware that there is some minor performance penalty compared to Steel plate armour, but that doesn't really matter outside PvP anyway. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This change of course upset some of the coal makers as it made their coal steel an *optional* choice for PAS armor and skilling. Little has since been said on how it has effected this market or the desirability of Iron Plate Armor compared to steel.
