Posted January 28, 2018 (edited) If we must have Rift rewards that we can't use, could we please be granted the ability to smelt them into lumps? Edited January 28, 2018 by Steveleeb

Posted January 28, 2018 (edited) yeap, it worked.. i've never used a smelting pot before and Wurmpedia sais nothing about waiting past `glowing` for it to be ready.https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Smelting_pot Low ql smelting pot cap the ql of the lump to 50 ql. Smelting items seems to give lumps equivalent to the ql of the item being smelted. Metal items must be glowing hot to smelt down into a lump. This is not a container, but it's activated and used like a tool. Smelting a rare or better item will turn it into a rare lump. Sorry about that, suggestion thread null Edited January 28, 2018 by Steveleeb

Posted January 30, 2018 It is on the wiki. If the wording isn't clear, how should it be worded?
Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) I was told the duration of time past `glowing hot` is equal to the time it takes the item to become, `glowing hot` I'm not sure if that's exact, it was the advice i was given by an expert. Before that was spoken, his words were `are you aware that items need to be heated up past baseline "glowing hot" before you can smelt them? make sure your forge is hot enough and let them sit for a while longer` I hope that helps, I'm not a smithy so i have no observational experience. *I just double checked the wiki and yet again, questioned both my sanity and my eyes. i regret to add.. no where does it state, beyond glowing hot or to wait past glowing hot, or to give it more time. Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Ah, I see. I'm not in the game at the moment, I'll test some when I log in if no one else fixes it before. No, it states only "glowing hot" indeed. Edited January 30, 2018 by Anarres
