Posted January 28, 2018 I'm sure this has been suggested but I couldn't find it so figured I would post it. I was doing archaeology and thought about the random runes I was seeing. There should be a way to remove these runes for reuse such as a spell or fluid. This could be part of restoration and of course a chance to not get the rune off.
Posted January 28, 2018 there haven't been many archaeology suggestions because it's very new. 13 hours ago, Zae said: I'm sure this has been suggested but I couldn't find it so figured I would post it. https://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/159162-rune-removal/ I'm not sure if that relates to your suggestion, I know next to nothing about runes in archaeology. and hey, no worries, at least u searched. +
Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Ether's premise is pretty much the same - to be able to recycle runes from found items, especially those found by archaeology. He linked the task to soul depth rather than restoration, though. I'd favor chisel QL + restoration to be the major influence of removal chance, as re-attaching the rune will use soul depth as a major chance factor anyway. Posted January 30, 2018 +1 to rune recycling. (Perhaps it should also require the destruction of the item?)
