Posted January 26, 2018 Information regarding non-premium cap on characteristics being 30 rather than 20 needs to be noted as applying for PVE and not PVP. This is especially important to make note of as there is a risk for pve players that may sail to Chaos with no issue only after to discover they lack the skill to pilot their boats back. According to patch notes: On 6/30/2016 at 7:44 AM, DevBlog said: Non-premium characters that have previously been premium will now keep their characteristic stats up to 30 on PvE servers. 1. Update characteristics page: https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Characteristics Current wording: " If a character was once premium and then loses premium, their characteristic skills will drop down to 30 (or remain unchanged if lower than 30); however, you can not raise them further until becoming premium again. " Suggested correction option: "On PVE: If a character was once premium and then loses premium, their characteristic skills will drop down to 30 (or remain unchanged if lower than 30); however, you can not raise them further until becoming premium again. On PVP: Characteristics remain capped at 20. Crossing from PVE to PVP will enforce this cap immediately." 2. Posted January 26, 2018 The only warning that is needed is the orange text when plotting a course to Chaos. "You will join the <insert kingdom name> until you return. If you're not premium, enjoy being shark food when you cross the border". Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
