Posted January 3, 2018 Good day together! today I moved my wurm-unlimited server to my new vServer - well, it works great... so far. But now, I got a problem - how can I set it to autostart? I simply want that the server starts with the OS. vServer: Windows Server 2016 Access via rdp WU: Map is named "Adventure" Software: Steam + Wurm Unlimited Server Tool 1.5.2.1 Many thanks for your time! Posted January 3, 2018 Uhm - could you explain that.. a bit, please? I've added "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited Dedicated Server\WurmServerLauncher-patched.exe" to the "Computer configuration/Windows Settings/Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)" as a script (no script parameters) - but it did.. nothing. Restarted my server - nothing really startet, what was my mistake?
Posted January 3, 2018 I just wrote a batch script and stuck it in the startup folder. Each time the OS starts, it runs the script. Not sure how Windows Server works but you might be able to even delay it until after Windows fully starts
Posted January 3, 2018 (edited) It worked great with the batch script - but not together with the task sheduler. cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited Dedicated Server" Start WurmServerLauncher-patched.exe Start=Adventure I added this into the task sheduler (basic task, start with computer ...) - and worked! Wurm starts now together with the server. Many Thanks! Edited January 3, 2018 by Angelstar
