Getting the same gains with sleep bonuses on or off

Grinding Weapon Smithing atm, so gains are quite small and ofc RNG.   It does seem off, but maybe just me.    I have 70+ CoC casts on tools plus logs, I have a Weapon Smithing affinity meal active for 9hrs or so, and a soul stealer necklace active (if the skill efficiency even means anything here).

Saving my sleep bonus until more input collected.

On second thought, meditation is quite consistent on gains.   That would settle this issue easily.

 

edit:  My meditation came out quite close to what it should be considering SB and CoC amounts.   I think it's fine.  I chock it up to RNG

On what server, Epic or freedom? Epic skillgain is pretty broken.
