Posted November 17, 2017 This may be meant? But im almost sure that i've worked on a ceiling on top of a bridge before and it hasn't acted like i was in the water beneath. The ceiling is not out of reach, yet when i try to flatten it, or mine it, the client tells me it is. I did pass it by CAhelp before posting here. I apologise if this isn't a bug. Posted November 17, 2017 for that bridge to have the clearance to build, the ceiling above must be mined to the max height, fairly certain about this anyways, so once the bridge is finished the ceiling above is already out of reach
Posted November 17, 2017 (edited) The bridge is 15 slope, it wouldn't let me build a 20 slope, in fact, when i tried to make it 2 wide it wouldnt let me have a 15 slope. The ceiling isn't deep, it's very close to being capped by the outside ground. not that this is relevant. I'm merely puzzled because... the ceiling was mined to the max (reachable) height from beneath the bridge... if i built a hut and climbed on top of it i could raise it higher.. if i built an arched bridge and worked on top of it, the same should apply? 2 tiles up, 15 slope.. is 30 slope higher than beneath the bridge. Making the ceiling, reachable... as is the case if i built a scaffold hut.
