Intense Memory Usage

Hello, I was requested to post my console/configs here.

 

I am having Wurm take up to 9-10GB of memory for just running around for ~2 hours. Little bit of traveling (~500 tiles around deed) and about 20 people in local frequently. This is stable client.

This happens because people leave local and come back in. This has been around for over a year. Because mines are now only 20 tiles this happens even more often than before, slowly filling up the memory usage. This can be reproduced aswell, for example if an account gets stuck and keeps "teleport" its a matter of minute sbefore your client goes full memory and crashes.

~30 min of gameplay, while building my house. 3 clients on at the same time. Very little moving around if any at all. I have 32GB of ram and this is unplayable.

So I went ahead and rebooted my PC and started a single client. This is what I get maybe 10 seconds after rebooting.

I concur. Resolving these issues will help keep existing players in the game, returning ones and new players alike. I assume this would give PvP more stability as well. This is something that we ALL want. There are 100%, without a doubt, performance issues regarding memory consumption.

 

In the meantime, can anyone confirm Low Mem Client is working? It's a bit difficult to explain why I cannot do this myself, but it would help a few players to be able to play now. Below is the thread in question I am referring to:

the 3 account at 1gb have been on for 40mins in town not moving then I logged in 2 more accounts same place settings and they use 3 gb each lol

2 Accounts in a mine full of people, lowest clients settings on everything, over 3GB at startup

3 rd account outside nobody in local, high client settings on most things
