Digging dirt right to the pile?

I remember that making this possible were stopped couse of some bugs with ghost items?

 

Is there any chance to make it happen?

 

It is very annoying, on a new character, that you must constantly drop it as a pile, couse of low strength.

there is a mod for it, for the WU, but i'm presuming your referring to WO??

I just open the pile on the ground, then drag and drop from my inventory to the pile.  Works nicely.

+1 This would bring digging in line with mining and woodcutting. If ores, trees/logs drop to a pile automatically, it's hard to see why the same can't happen with dirt/sand/clay/tar/etc.

Thought the reason it wouldn't be added is how it would make leveling easier, I disagree since it's stamina based and just adds a Qol of not moving dirt from inventory.

But it is working as you described.

wouldnt know i never dredge. but i recalled it was dropedi the dirt inside the dredge and could only carry 2 before was full so made the work a pain
