Posted October 23, 2017 Self explantatory, would like to have a trapdoor on my ladder openings. Wouldn't work like a door only with a lock/unlock option.

Posted October 23, 2017 Very useful. If problem with implementing, then at least make simple version when you do not have "climb" option if it's locked.
Posted October 23, 2017 +1 I always liked those in rust, I'd think it'd work well in wurm also.
Posted October 23, 2017 +1, there's no vertical locking. I'm sure people in Pve would also appreciate it as well as pvp.
Posted October 23, 2017 Sounds reasonable. I'd like to have associated graphics showing a closed hatch/open hatch. +1 Would also like a string mechanism to tip a cauldron of hot oil when hatch is pushed open from beneath, but it's not a deal breaker.

Posted October 25, 2017 +1 so trolls cannot get through. Even though the opening is too small for them, they somehow squeeze through.
Posted November 2, 2019 Here's a bump to this idea. I don't like leaving openings at the top of my buildings, though it's useful for flat roofs. It just looks too... open. All the weather will get in.
