I can confirm that this feature is not working. Carrying a caravel takes me down to 0.85km/h.

I've tested it locally and it's working with unmodded 1.5.2.1, carying 2000 kgs moved at full speed at power 3, 4 and 5

Moving on flat ground with no armour on? what is your max carry weight?

Naked with some little items that i cant drag out, i run with 17,24, thats the same like with full amour and an inventory weight of ~120kg, higher than that it will always be slower the more i have in the inventory.

Could it be our movemod for player speed is overwriting this GM buff to speed? It would seem likely if retro is getting one result unmodded and the rest of us using similar mod gets another.

Thats a good point, i will look at this, i have also another old mod that give gm´s always fullspeed.

 

I will tell you if i know more =)

We don't currently have and modifications to move speed and we aren't seeing any issues with encumbrance on GM 3+.
