1.5 Beta!

He was probably talking about the stand-alone server software which most probably get with steamcmd, at least that's my guess since he already said he got the beta client to work.

 

First we have to check if there is indeed a beta branch for it which you can find here: https://steamdb.info/app/402370/depots/?branch=beta

 

Now that we know that, you can modify your steamcmd command line and add the line "-beta beta" as documented here https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD and then it should grab that beta branch when you run it.

The beta build has been updated to 1.5.0.1 to include the fixes to graphics and the highway systm

 

The highway fix system is there, but the graphics jar is still messed up in the same way it was in the first build for me.

The graphics jar thing is fixed too.

Did devs just go ahead and release it because they felt sorry for me, trying to get the Beta running?  Thank you!  So far, I am loving it!

Yea the 2nd beta was making me a bit nervous but things are looking pretty good so far. A bit rushed but kudos to the dev team.
