Posted September 9, 2017 Right now it takes 512kg of dye to paint the new bulk storage unit. Kinda excessive... Please consider lowering this to match the bsbs if possible. Also it would be nice to be able to paint the new storage racks, bee hives, and maybe the dark wood furniture thanks.
Posted September 9, 2017 LMAO paint requirement is stupid for so many items 512kgs for a bsb rack, loooooolzzzzzz I really think the requirements for everything needs to be looked over seriously, I want to paint my knarr and its small compared to a cavel, but so many things in between do not make sense at all, mailbox's take so much ink and a street lamp takes a drop, what is the thought behind all these amounts? Seriously someone needs to make a chart on all the items in wurm and redo the paint requirements, we want to paint stuff, but should not need to gather a mountain of resources to paint a mailbox, get what I mean? You can paint a entire wall with 1kg of paint but it takes a silly amount for a mailbox, its all out of wack and needs to be fixed. I don't mean it should take more paint for a wall, just make everything more reasonable so folks can decorate there deeds the way they want to.
Posted September 9, 2017 -1 take the time to make it, if that means increasing wall paint, good
Posted September 9, 2017 Dye requirements are based on the x y and z values of an item, which is why larger items take more. It's a system that doesn't make sense at some scales, with bsbs needing 128 kgs (thats where 512 comes from btw, 128 x 4) and of course ships. bsbs and crates have had their amounts needed reduced, this request is simply asking the dye requirement to be reduced to 4x the current hardcoded bsb amount, not 4x the normal bsb amount. Posted September 9, 2017 I guess the outer dimensions need to big to accomodate large items inside - like into a mailbox.
