Remove `aggressive` from Event tab.

Recommended Posts

`Normal` presents no text, `Defensive` and `Aggressive` do.
I believe that `aggressive` is the normal stance for more people.
after 4 years, having `aggressive` permanently written at the bottom of my event tab is starting to bug me.

Mine says defensive cos i'm working on getting the skill up.

i do agree it's redundant as the fight window has lovely icons showing you which stance you're in anyway.

Do not remove it for everyone. If anything make it a toggle or something in the client settings (Show combat stance in 'Event').

It is sometimes helpful in PvP to have redundance to see what stance you are in at the moment in case you're not always aware of it.

Or... you could click on "Normal" and be done with it...

The text may cause a  newbie to investigate it further.

I'll go along with Capi and -1

For the record, neither of my toons are aggressive, they are plain normal, or when taming, they are defencive.

Just make it an item you can toggle on and off in settings, so everyone would be happy.

I like to remain in defensive when not in a fight, and then go aggressive a bit into the fight.  I'm really only starting to fight more now though.

I've had quite a few times recently when seeing "aggressive" down there reminds me to switch back to defensive.

Wouldn't be the end of the world for me if it wasn't there anymore, but I do find it useful for the moment.  +/- 1

Upcoming new UI may handle that differently.  Really can't wait to see some of it.

Actually with the lag/bug of combat sometimes, when you switch from aggresive to defensive, or from defensive to x___, you may think you're in that stance but you can only confirm this by looking down at the event window.

You can sometimes think you're in defensive but be in aggressive. These scenarios can be bad in pvp or even pve.

this reminds me of what stance I am in more than anything else

some of us do use more than one stance

in a dire situation you may need to switch out to defense and pop weaponshield

so it boils down to mindfulness, PvP being the greatest of distractors.

I have been fighting on freedom for past 8 or 9 months, I still use different stances, this is not just a pvp tool you know.

yes i know. but what im saying is, freedom is tame enough to use just this;

whereas PvP, Chaos is a good name for it.

Yep, just let us turn it off in settings. In WU all my guys use aggressive and don't really need to be reminded of it. Personal preference, choice and all that stuff which makes Wurm (WU too) diverse. Good suggestion Steveleeb.
