Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) Goodday fellow Wurmians. We've recently developed a custom map for Wurm unlimited and decided to host it online. We'll be focussing on trying to stay a bit true to the vanilla wurm experience, but we're also open for community feedback. The Archipelago The Silirilian Archipelago focusses on three main islands. Every kingdom starts on their own island. However every other kingdom is free to settle in enemy lands. There are several other smaller islands which you the settler is free to colonize. Every kingdom starts with a small starter town which people are free to join. In the starter towns there is everything provided for the average player to get going. Every starter town also includes a mine and a public market house where players can store their own merchants. Gameplay To encourage new players, we've decided to make deeding and settlement upkeep free for the first two weeks. We also currently have the skillgain modified to 2.5 times the normal skillgain, but there will be event weekends where the skill gain will be doubled to 5.0 the normal skillgain. Besides that it is a normal vanilla epic game world. Hota When talking about epic we cannot forget to talk about HOTA. Currently we've hota disabled, in the future however if we've a stable community we will enable hota. Server The server is hosted in Amsterdam and it is scalable. which means if the traffic increases and the server can't handle it. We will bump up the server to a higher tier.
