Saddlebags and More

Recommended Posts

I've doing a bit of thinking and came up with a couple of things that we could use in game that can be built with already available items. If any of these are already in the works, then yay!

Saddlebags

Possible items needed for creating - 2 backpacks, leather belt, leather strips

Usefulness - Would be ideal for placing items such as cotton, lunchbox/picnic basket, or other items found along the way to keep the inventory clear. They would also keep the player weight light in the event that the player would have to carry something heavy.

Trophy Kill Displays

Possible items needed for creating - fur or pelt, display stand, cotton strings

Usefulness - Show off those first kills of wolves, bears, etc., with this display! Killed a champ bear?  Put it on display in your home or great hall. Tapestries and banners are already in game. These can add the more 'hunting' feel to any lodge.

Display stand (mentioned above)

Possible items needed - shafts, small or large nails, possibly ribbons

Usefulness - Can be used in displaying trophy kills and modified to fit other things later on such as collectibles or other animal parts.

Thanks for your consideration!

Maybe tapestry stand can simply be used instead of display stand?

Lot of salt needed for animal stands so they don't rot. I would consider to use the entire corpse, or add "animal head"  to the list of butchered items. Horns dropped from bulls and rams, and add antlers to male deer. Also maybe a nice place to put those unique skulls.. :)

saddlebags would be interesting for rifts, hunting, etc. You could then just take two horses and one be a packhorse for carrying your supplies and loot. Taxidermy skill for sure, make use of them furs and horns. Say you take a bull hide and two horns plus the display stand and get a bull head or take a bear fur, tooth, and stand and get a bear head. Hell hounds and such would need something added to drops though.
