<Invalid argument: connect>

Every time I try to start my game I get this error. Network error: <Invalid argument: connect>. Can someone please tell me how to fix it?. Thanks

I don't see the version on the title bar but in the launcher it is 1.4.0.1

I would go to the steam game list. Rightclick Wurm and select properties. On the Files tab, select "verify integrity of files".

No issues there.

Amoondra just finished uninstalling and reinstalling it but still getting the same error. We made sure the network drivers were updated as well and no change.

the more information you give the easier will be to try to help you.

1. is the computer behind some kind of institutional firewall or router, school, library, military, etc?

2 have they ever been able to log in before?

3. any error logs?

4. 32bit or 64 bit computer. if 64 bit, make sure to have java use 64 bit, preferably by uninstalling 32bit altogether.

5, can they play other steam games multiplayer?

6. are your computer network drivers updated?

 

etc. again, try to give more info
