[FIXED] Unstable 4.00-eb95272 - Mines completely black

As the title says, entering mines the window is rendered completely black. Unstable Client 4.00-eb95272 - Java 8u131 - macOS 10.12.5 (27" iMac Late 2013) - Apple display drivers.

 

(update: using the NVIDIA drivers - 378.05.05.15f01 - makes no difference)

The  devs are aware and working on a fix.  The Post Processing fix works for some people - it seems to be hardware dependent.  It works for me on Windows 10 with Nvidia, and not for you with Mac OS.

Win10 with nvidia gtx 1070 here and mines are black for me too, so idk if it's hardware dependent.

I meant the work around 'fix' was hardware dependent.  

 

If you have the black mine, you can work around it by ticking something in the new Post Process tab.  That will fix your black mine issue - at least it will for some people.  I have win 10 with nvidia as well and making that tick worked for me.

ticking FXAA in the new Post-Process tab resolved the issue for me as well.  No client restart needed, was immediate.  Thx for info on the band-aid :)

I ticked the vignette one and it worked seems odd that more then one of the options on that tab work to fix the problem.

Similar experience for me too.  Rode into a mine and it was pitch black.  Backed out, checked the forums and found this thread.  I opened my options..settings..Post-Process tab, and selected Antialiasing (FXAA) and then save and I could pop into the mine like normal. (no client restart or anything needed)

I'm Windows 10 Pro version 1703 with NVidia GTX 760 with driver version 382.05.

It is a Friday around 9 pm Eastern time, I'm wearing white socks, just ate a tuna sandwich, and watching The Avengers on the TV.  My cat did meow once while looking at me funny, but that may have been due to the recent thunderstorm that interrupted her noms.  Oh, and I just tamed a Champion Wildcat to Calm..that was while eating the tuna sandwich.  She likes the tuna and it made me hungry.

Fixed with unstable 4.00-efac438 patched today.

 

If you had this problem, you can now untick post-process items if you wish (if you used the workaround to tick them).
