Log Cabin

Recommended Posts

Since stone walls got some recent love, can we please also get some new wall types for wood? I personally like the Log Cabin Look. Not sure what other styles we could include, but this would be a really nice look. There are even some really creative wall images if you look online (vertical as well as horizontal log types). Please consider this as an option for future inclusion in the game!

Some images for your creative inspiration!

Literally the exact same thread as made 2 weeks ago...

Even the same picture lol.

Still, +1 as always for log cabins.

Suggested so many times and I will keep +1 on these.

Log cabins the only main thing we missing from Wurm now.  Have palisades so now need horizontal wood walls.

Make it use only logs and pegs and it will litter the world like vermin.

Add 2 large nails for each wall and I can +1 this idea.

Since seeing that screen shot from WU mod for putting things on table from inside a "log cabin" was hoping we could get Log Cabin added to WO.

It can have higher decay than wooden walls even at high ql.

Whole trees decay faster than untreated wooden planks. That's GOTTA be Wogic. LOL! :P

+1 on the idea btw. It would be great to see more stuff in the game!

Would love to put a little old cabin up next to my ice fishing spot where I can keep my ice fishing gear in the off season.

That, and log cabins are just cool.

Would love to have another realistic house added to the features , but allow it to use the this also motar or clay to bind the building together. Even if its like anarres said make it have something other then logs. Loves the idea of being able to spruce up but also it should also have the feature to have the color of wood used in logs like many other items.

In Sweden we use tar or render the walls, specially indoors they are rendered.

It would be tar or pine resin realistically, seal the gaps

Down here we had a method called "Pug and Pine"  which was pine poles standing in a ditch and then chinked and rendered with lime mortar.  The "poor man's version" (egads, what a concept) used mud or clay if available to chink.

Come to think of it, why doesn't Wurm have limestone?
