Posted May 30, 2017 Well, I still can't get on Wurm, but I can finally access our home workgroup which has been unavailable to me since "upgrading" to Win10 - cheers! LOL
Posted May 30, 2017 Okay, So wurmonline.com is showing that all servers are online. When I use my desktop shortcut, I still cant get on. Is there something I need to change on my end to make this work or are there still connectivity issues? Don't want to sound stupid here, but these are things I'm not familiar with. That is tricky try not to mess up ur computer for sure though. The procedure to make that change is posted here on the posts on this thread (if u read the posts). Only part I had to look up on utube was how to 'save' my changes to that host file. I did that, and now I can log into wurm online ok. Good luck !!

But , can I ask, why add 2 lines to the hosts file? I only added one line to get myne to work (I added: 148.251.21.205 jenn001.game.wurmonline.com). What does that other line do? Can I ask? What does adding this line "148.251.21.200 Wild001.game.wurmonline.com" do for it? Thanks :-)
Posted May 30, 2017 (edited) First line is for Freedom Server Second line is for Chaos Server (Wild) I don't know if you need the Chaos one if you are trying to log into Chaos. Got the DNS info from a friend in alliance and we play Chaos so figured maybe need both. Most all of you not trying to get on Chaos, so don't worry about the 2nd line. Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) I changed my adapter settings to Google IPv4 and IPv6, still didn't work. Leaving that in, then I did what Finn stated: In start menu's search, type 'cmd', right click it when it shows in the list.. and run as administrator, than just paste echo 148.251.21.205 jenn001.game.wurmonline.com >> c:\windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts hit enter, and close the console.. Worked for me finally logging into Indy Edited May 31, 2017 by Mitzie
