Unfinished Pylon - which way is front? // Solved

You can't turn them, finished or unfinished.
this is what it looks like when i drop it

Is it facing forward? 
are those 2 prongs the front of the pylon?

I'll assume that front is facing you.. but that's a guess.. wogic could play a bad trick on you with that.

player who add last pcs on it become owner and you can push and rotate.

you cannot rotate them.

Also I cannot rotate my spirit gate - only push/pull on it. With keybind: [17:26:25] You may not turn that item right now.

I have no idea who has push/pull allowed on them I can push it with my alts too. Priests included they surely did not finish it :D

 

EDIT: found the ninja who finished instead of me, she can turn it. Should be the same with pylon, once finished.

can pull, can push, CAN NOT turn.

 

as for the front im not too sure what you actually consider the front of the pylon lol.

for this pylon i stood at the north side of the tile and the protruding part ended up being on the south part, whereas the flat part will point towards where you are standing.

 

so the game would probably consider the flat side to be the front as it is the side that ends up being the one pointed towards you when you finish it.

however give me a while longer to see wether or not another pylon we built came out the same.

 

not like ud finish this... thing in a short time anyways.

well, can't turn it so once it's too heavy to lift, there's no turning back.
that said i haven't begun it and i will hold off for a few days.

Arium, did you check the turnability with the very account who finished it? I have push/pull with anyone on a spirit gate but only the account who finished has the turn options.

hmm.. so it is inconsistent in between the different mission structures. I'm curious if it is a bug or intended?

just checked the second one and yes, the doorway tahts sticking out is on the side facing away from the spot we created them from on both of them.

door being front, flat being back

This is the wrong info, i completed it
the pointy fork bit?   is the front  / the doorway
NOT the back. (which i would probably have figured out if i hadn't asked, after all, the door sticks out)
I'm now having to support ticket it.
i really hope a GM can help me, ive been up for way too long

this received no correction.
This is the direction i was facing when i finished it;

as you can see, the door, is facing away from me, making the front `the direction in which i am facing`
the back isn't the direction im facing as was settled on this thread, the front, is the direction, im facing

Can a GM fix this for me?
I did everything i could to get it right
I may have misunderstood Arium's last reply but to make sure that i hadn't, i typed out my understanding.

Doesnt matter how you place the unfinished, what matter is where you look when complete it. Suggest you add it as a bug in server bugs, if you havent already, that you cant turn it.

my problem was resolved by the support team, the pylon now faces north.
