Pylon - can it be rotated/pushed by owner? [solved]

Recommended Posts

No one knows.
I need to know if a Pylon can be pushed or at least, rotated after it's been built.. like the obelisk.
thank you for replying

that's a big surprise.

The pylon at the market docks was finally completed just a day ago, having been delayed when work began in Glasshollow.  It could be continued while it was on deed, as long as the worker was standing just over the border and off of deed; standing on deed would prevent continuing the pylon if was off of deed.

I made the choice to restart the game client just before attaching the last piece to complete the pylon (knowing that I would respawn facing exactly north), in order to ensure the squareness of its placement once completed and spat out in front of me -- and my concern proved valid as it does not appear possible to rotate the finished pylon.

There are other items that I know of that can be pushed and pulled but cannot be rotated.  One example that comes to mind is a 'copper still'.

We wanted to have several stills on a single tile, but rotated so they would all share a common center.  This idea turned out beautifully, but required each still to be dropped while the player was facing a different direction.  They could then be pulled together and would align themselves perfectly on the person pulling them.
