Allow to build separate houses with corners connected

Recommended Posts

I understand that mechanics of house contain whole tile and it's borders, so separate houses connected by wall are not possible to build.

But

Maybe could be allowed to build separate houses connected by the corners?

Example:

This would allow for entire off deed area's locked in by many long houses.

+1

Always wanted to do this.  Would be really convenient.  Yes, it can probably be exploited to troll by trolls who thrive on trolling.  /shrug.  This is why we can't have nice things.

-1 due to abuse of "enclosures".

if off deed, cannot be locked.  Would that help?

Or as icbash suggested, on deed only.  Would that solve the "enclosures" problem?

No, because what would prevent me from putting a locked gate infront of the unlocked door?

I just don't see a legitimate need for this suggestion.

What's the difference if you can lock any area with walls? Couse houses are harder? For catapult it doesn't matter.

Difference is you can't catapult others' houses on Freedom.

Tbh, from what i've read about enclosures rule, it was a good concept.
