Hey all!

We are still needing to finish updates from the spectacular cooking update from November!

Any help is appreciated! Please see the list below for all that is needed. If something is missing from the list please let me know and I can add it. Thanks everyone!

i haven't tried with jam or syrup (though i assume its works still) but both cheese and egg sandwiches still have the same recipes as before

The Jam page needs an update, because cooking the ingredients as described on the page doesn't create Jam (after over half an hour real time in a hot oven).

 

Or you can't make multifruit Jam anymore?

Maple syrup page could use a small addition.  Currently it says cook in something "such as an oven."  But we used to be able to use a forge.  It took me quite a while to figure out why my sap wasn't turning to syrup in cauldrons in a forge when that's how I used to do it.  Evidently we can't any more. 

 

It would be helpful to add to the page that a forge no longer works for cooking sap.

while the dropped feature is a change it's also part of the cooking update that recipes have specific heat sources or containers now. Pretty much all pre 1.3 recipes are affected by that change.

Old info usually is removed and/or updated to the current state to keep the pages nice and clean.

 

But the page itself is a bit old and could use some love.

The "such as a stone oven" would be replaced with the proper container then to make it more clear and easier to spot.

I'll take a look at the sap and syrup page later today.

Tea page needs a bunch of work! I'll work on something for it today.

 

Does anyone know if "dishwater" is still a thing after the update? That might need to be removed entirely. Also "dishes" and "pig food" need work and/or removal.

Fork, knife pages don't mention chopping or mashing. Not sure if they should?

Fruit page is updated. 

 

HF still needs to be reworked, as does baking. (Working on it, as I have a few days off)

- Cooking can still be fleshed out a bit (missing tools, ingredients section?)

- Lots of food pages are now wrong or redundant once hfc and baking are reworked. (casserole, gulash, etc). Do default cookbook recipe categories need their own wiki pages?

- Do we want to call it a 'stone oven'? 

- Fire container is a strange category. Do we want a different page of 'cookers', since that's how they're referred to in the cookbook?

- Wine improves in the barrel, but do distilled beverages do so? I was under the impression that they don't.
