Posted January 2, 2017 I have a suggestion in the form of having a set of rules and being consistent with the way the rules are adhered to by staff when ruling on cases. Apply the rules "as is" the reason the game is unbalanced, has a bad rep by a lot of players and some players don't have high expectations is because of the lack of consistency. Posted January 2, 2017 Totally agree with consistency. The friend/bad-neighbor with staff issue, I have seen. No matter how unbiased people want to be, they are human, and the effect will shine through. I have had some completely neutral (awesome!) experiences with GM's and some completely ridiculously unfair and inconsistent ones, purely because I dare to disagree with them on a chat. For example, one GM moved abandoned (10 months) boats from my harbour, smiled, complimented the deed, and left. When it happened on my move to Xanadu, another GM told "sorry, cant do that, can't move boats, not allowed to" ... "ok.... " -- then left rudely, no hi's or byes. Like I said, it's human, and will occur everywhere else, at your local petrol station and in government. But at least try man.... I like consistency. +1 PS: "bad rep by a lot of players".... not sure about that, ive never hated the game because of players or gm's... I think that's a little shortsighted. Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) I need to note that I had only great experience during the years so far when GM intervention was needed - and I was not always getting what I wanted but always clear and acceptable reasons were provided. Posted January 2, 2017 We as staff strive for consistency but there are times when things might be done that are unlike previous cases of similar nature. You as a player may discuss this with the support staff present or contact their superior for clarification as there might be more to the story than just what you are seeing. There is also as Legios mentioned the survey option on ingame support tickets that you can leave your feedback/comments on the service you received for that problem. Talking more with the staff in question, PM'ing their superior, and leaving feedback on support tickets are the ways you can understand why situations are dealt with in certain manners and is far more constructive than a thread here.
