[Fixed] Cannot See Meat Type

Recommended Posts

As title says, I cannot see varying meat types with the Show Item Material After Name disabled.

When I asked about it about a month ago during the testing phase, I was told to just turn it on.... but I don't think that's a solution because I hate not seeing a material property before the item.

Please fix. Thanks! :)

Can we please fix this. I don't want to use "show material suffix on items" option.

Not a bug as it's working as intended.  You can try the suggestions forum.

I'm confused as to how it's working as intended. In one mode, you can see meat types, but in another, you can't. Everything about one setting works on the other setting but meat showing up. I seriously doubt it was coded to purposely only work in one client setting, right?

I mean, it's literally vital to the game to know what meat type is what (for affinities). What's the point of having it work this way when it's fundamental to the cooking system?

.....?

It would appear to me that this is not working as intended, since it does not fall in line with all other item material suffixes:

The " show material suffix on items" just moves the material to after the item, it does still show when it is toggled off, just in a different location;

IE

Iron hatchet                     (setting disabled)

Hatchet, iron                   (setting enabled)

^this is currently ingame^

Shouldnt it do the same thing for meat:

insect meat                   (setting disabled)

meat, insect                  (setting enabled)

I can bring up the issue again, last time I was told working as intended.  (Don't shoot the messenger) :)

Please check the test server and run a few tests with meat varieties as changes have been made.  Advise if you run into lore issue please ;)
