Religion disabled

I'm not sure how exactly this happened, or why, but aparently I have managed to disable religion on my server. The altar of three is inactive, you cant chose a religion, the option is just not there. I removed the altar hoping to replace it as the one there might be bugged, I cant create another one. I looked, item name is "Altar of three", its not in the list....

 

#give ......does not work for me, never has, probably never will so please do not ask me to use that command.

 

EDIT: oddly "end game items" was disabled however turning it back on did not allow me to get an altar of three, still not in the create list, #give 327 99 1 did not work as expected.

are you on a character that is marked with GM powers? it's the only way the #give command works. Also make sure you try the command in the local chat window. IRC window does not allow GM commands last time I checked.

 

For the Altar of 3 if the alter you have doesn't work it just means you have another on the map.  Sounds like you tried to set a new location for the altar of 3 and summoned a new one where you wanted it. Either you done it before you placed the new one or never got rid of the original this is the only thing that would stop the altar of 3 from not working upon a server restart.

 

If you have mods then it could be a mod stopping it. Every thing I mentioned above is for a none mod server.

GM character bugged, I created a new one and the "#give" command actually worked for the first time ever. New problem! "altar of three can not be placed until the old one is destroyed"

 

I got the new gm a wand via give, created a new altar of three to replace the broken one but the new one cant be placed...

 

[11:17:14] You must remove the current Altar of Three before placing a new one.

If I recall, in a few cases where the altar was in inventory, a workaround was to suicide which drops the altar at the spot. There is most likely a better way, that's just something i hazily remember from messing around on my own server once.

I fixed it, didn't need to do that, removing both altars respawned in both on a server restart.

 

Server should be working normally now I hope.

The easiest way to remove a altar of three in your inventory is select a few items with the altar of three and drop them, it makes a pile then pick up your other items.
