Server mod for seasons

One superb mod would be to - being able to change the seasons on a server.

Being able to customize the time would be the best.

Like:

 

Summer - 30%

Spring - 10%

Autumn - 10%

Winter - 50%

 

or

 

Summer - 100%

 

or anything in between.

The server does not tell the client what season it is.  The server tells the client what the date and time is, that's all.  The client then decides what graphics to display based on the date.  This is why it's possible to have a client mod that allows you to always see the graphics for noon in summer no matter what anyone else playing on the server sees.  

 

This request would require both a server mod and a client mod, and you would still have to rely on your players installing the client mod.

 

Even snowball foraging is based entirely on the date, not on the fact that the client is displaying snow on the ground or not.  And only the client decides if snowballs can be foraged or not.
