Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) Most of us know by now how hard it is to make (or buy) runes, much less high ql ones - and once you make them the next big hurdle is trying to attach them. What if we can significantly boost your chances of attaching the runes to the items you love? This is the service that Inspira and I are offering here. Using her wonderful Soul Depth (76.67, 2nd in niarja) and my reputation, we will insure that: (1) you get your precious items back to you (with attached runes) (2) with minimal rune expenditure (all remaining runes will be mailed back to you) (3) with a complete log of the events from accepting the mail and until mailing back Here's how to do it: Rename the (mailable) item with your name Rename any runes you want to send with your name Send them to Inspira (or Thorakkanath if you do not trust my gf ) Wait Receive the item back (in any case), including any remaining runes and see the log (if interested) posted as a reply to this thread Cost of this service: 35c per successfully attached rune (so only once per item) If you have items that you cannot mail, you can bring them to our deed to perform the service (Thunderstorm Keep/Thunderstorm Harbor in Q11 Xanadu). Please contact us before to insure that we are on at the time. If no runes get attached to your tools, we will COD the item back to you at 1i cost as a show of good faith (and of course, providing a log of the failure in this thread) - tips are welcome of course, because we will still have to do the work of posting, success or failure. In that sense, if you send a single low ql rune to attach, we will have to charge you a 10c fee in case of failure. I understand that if you look at it purely from a cost per action perspective it may seem expensive. But there is another angle to this story, if you spend 30c-3s PER RUNE (so at the very least 30c-3s per item you want runed), wouldn't you want the highest possible chances to attach them? I mean if 35c is pricey, then I would argue runes are not yet within the pricing range you can afford (losing 30c-3s PER ACTION if it doesn't succeed). The same can be said about making the runes yourself. It is hard to make them at any skill level, and rift materials don't grow on trees (a little pun there, some actually do ) - so if you want a higher chance than you have to attach those hard made runes you can use such a service to essentially maximize your chances of attaching (essentially, as atm there are only 2 other KNOWN chars with (marginally) higher SD). In essence, you want high end chances? there is a small premium associated to it. Plus, this is an optional service, everyone is free to try to attach the runes themselves, we are forcing no one to use the service I do not want to sound harsh, but I do feel that 175k+ panfills and 100 farming and all 96+ fishing and all other skills that contributed to her SD over the course of 5+ years of playtime are worth 35c..... Posted December 29, 2016 Sorry, my reply was just rude. I did t mean to troll your sales, may i instead suggest that you lower the price of the better runes. I saw the 73, and physically flinched, but i just feel more people will come to you if maybe you charge more for the lower ql ones (maybe 20c if you have 40, then 30 for under that, and charge a fee for single low ql attach). Runes arent impossible to come by, i have several, and i feel like if someone is wirking really hard to make some good ones (or as a noob to buy them) then it would suck to have to stack more silvers on top just to USE them Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted December 29, 2016 Like he said, you don't need him to use them, you can attach them yourself. 35c isn't that much when you are nearly guaranteed success, or given a much higher chance. It's a business, not a community service. What would be the point of leveling his skills if he couldn't profit from them? If he gets no sales he will probably adjust. Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) ()()()()()()()()()()()()()() PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENT ()()()()()()()()()() It has come to my attention that a 5% size increase rune (( Zink + Stone Rift source ) on mailbox's will allow Logs, Planks, Halberds, Fishing Pole and the like to be Mailed if a Rune has been attached to the mailbox the sender is using. where it was not allowed before. Wogic I Guess Shydow informed me this was possible so I quickly raced to my Mag Alt and made a ton of runes mostly Low Quality I now have one and confirmed this myself it does work... And I have all of these extras I wondered what I could do with them besides sell them. I Would like to Team together with Your attachment Service And get these runes attached to our Public markets and Starting Deeds... Installed For Public Use... I will supply whatever runes I can with what my alt can make Mostly 1-20ql. If agreed to start attaching these Wurm Wide starting at every Starting city then at our public markets across all of Wurm. I will start to COD these runes to Thorrakkanath Or Inspira at no charge to get ball rolling. Please Contact me And tell me what you Think... On a side note if your unable to support me I am willing to Pay for your service to get these put into each starting city even letting you ride shot gun while I travel to each city to get this mission completed !
