Posted December 23, 2016 I was stocking up all my dormant hives with sugar and about the 12th or so got stung opening it. Didn't notice the smoker was not lit. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted January 26, 2017 This issue should be fixed with today's update http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/150421-patch-notes-26jan17/ Active wild hives will sting you if no smoker is lit when you attempt to open them and you will be prevented from opening the hive. Active domestic hives whether locked or unlocked will sting you if no smoker is lit when you attempt to ope them and you will be prevented from opening the hive.
