Posted December 26, 2016 Esteron's corner Glasshollow Market After a short break, we put the final touches on our third market section: As we pack up to leave for our next stop a local merchant has already opened shop.
Posted December 28, 2016 Summerholt's similar Glasshollow Market We have completed our fourth which looks much like our first: The simplistic design standard fully admits the scene of the background.
Posted December 30, 2016 Whitefay's scenic Glasshollow Market This is our fifth stop along the way and our first of two in this region: Sparse growth on the edge of the steppes provides a wide view of these rolling hills.
Posted December 30, 2016 Did you guys vandalize any highways at this one, like you did on Newspring?

Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) You didn't on Newspring. You modified a highway section, without GM permission (which is against the rules) and against the express wishes of myself and a few others who live in the area who asked if you could please consult the locals before making infrastructure adjustments (which is not against the rules, but extremely discourteous). You even destroyed one end of that highway section, which is something a GM definitely would not have approved. It was very clearly for the sake of your own market's visibility and design, without regard for anything around it, or even the rules of the game. I'm using the general "you" here since I don't know which one of you did it; you told me "ask Rocky" when I confronted you (Sila/Paulofdune) about this, so I take that to mean it was his doing. Posted December 30, 2016 Well, it's good to know you follow the rules sometimes. So what are you going to do about the highway on Newspring? Are you going to revert the modifications you made?

Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Sila, I was there yesterday and the modifications you made were still present. I've spoken to some of the locals recently, and we really don't appreciate that you would break game rules in order to modify the local infrastructure for the sake of your founding a satellite market deed in a conspicuous location. It gives the impression that you don't care what the locals want, or about the game rules themselves, and only care about your markets being as visible as possible. Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) I will do that, as I don't really understand why they would allow someone to knowingly make illegal highway modifications, for the sake of their own deed, against the wishes of the locals, without any consequences. That just doesn't seem plausible to me. What kind of precedent does that set? That people can break both the letter and the spirit of the rules, and get away with it because... why? Just because? And continue to reap the benefits of it? I give the GM team more credit than that. Obviously, whenever I do hear what the staff's resolution to this is, I'll accept that decision; I just honestly don't feel like you've given me much reason to trust your word on it. EDIT: Just noticed that Sila blanked his posts. What he said, in order: nope all got gm approval like newspring we do now all fixed already gms says all fine now... but if you got any problems with it conctact them not me Edited December 30, 2016 by Ostentatio
Posted December 30, 2016 Might try personal messages or /support if have highway issues, the GM's are pretty good at taking care of in game problems between 2 parties, both ways to do this are listed on the Wiki if you require assistance in how to do these things. Deeds look good from the photos.

This is just very confusing, since it has gone from the highway being wrecked without permission, to the GMs looking into it, to Sila saying the GMs are fine with it anyway and that it's fixed even though it's not, to Sila deleting his posts. I have no idea what's going on anymore, so I'll leave it to the GMs to sort out.

Once you've done so and have it resolved, be nice to remove your drama vrs shitting up his thread, If enough are concerned about the highway can probably fix it in a matter of hours, faster than the time it will take to have Gm's punish whoever you feel needs punishe

At this point, it's out of our hands, although I wish this could have been resolved more peacefully from the start. Posted January 1, 2017 Greymead's closer Glasshollow Market A previous resident of Glasshollow encountered at our sixth stop; a reminder that there is no escape from our expanding presence: Now that there is a market on this other side of the lake this local won't have to reach Whitefay to get to Glasshollow.
