Building materials and roof / upper stories

I am building a building in a pvp+ area and I wanted to ask a couple of things about building materials vs. catapults.  when some malevolent person comes along with a catapult to flatten your house, does it take into account the materials and quality of the roof, upper story walls, and upper story floor before assigning damage  to the ground floor structure?  scenario: you have two 3-story buildings.  the e first with a slate roof and 3 stories of stone walls and marble slab floors. the second has the first floor being all stone but floors 2 and 3 have wooden walls and floors, and a wood shingle roof.  would these two buildings respond differently to being catapulted?
