Posted December 1, 2016 As the title says, it look likes none of the wild hives on Deliverance decided to go noisy or migrate to the domestic ones nearby. With around 20 days left before the winter wipeout, can it be looked into?
Posted December 1, 2016 http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Wild_bee_hive A second queen bee can appear in the hive once every Wurm month. There must be a minimum amount of 2 kg of honey in the hive for a new queen to arrive. Is there 2 kg of honey in the hive ?

But also (from Wiki) Migration Bees can migrate do a domestic bee hive if certain conditions are met. There are also some things a player can do to increase the chances. Spoiler If a wild hive has one queen bee, the domestic hive must be of a higher quality than the wild hive. The higher the quality of the domestic hive, the higher the chance of migration. The closer the domestic hive is to the wild hive, the higher the chance of migration. The distance and quality of the domestic hive from the wild hive both combine to effect the odds that a migration will occur. The migration will bring the queen and the swarm to the domestic hive. This doesn't seem to happen, even with all specified conditions met (40ish ql wild bee hive, 70+ql domestic hive, placed near the tree with the wild hive). Posted December 1, 2016 with hives over 4kg, yes. also there is two types of migration, whole swarm directly moving in a hive of higher QL (case of most of the deli hives) not happening or new queen appearing in hives with "enough" honey. None of which seems to have appeared on Deli (unless someone didn't said it when we checked in freedom chat.).
Posted December 1, 2016 had one just migrate in front of my eyes. not sure if it had anything to do with it but the area it was located sucked for bees and it was being pounced on by a bear. possible that all of our catering to the hives just make it so they don't want to migrate. another thing to note is that that hive was only a day old. Posted December 1, 2016 This makes 3 migration on Freedom and 1 on Epic afaik. All of them happened instantly. So is the daily polling the troublesome one though? According to the details I got, it should be 1/5 - 1/6 chances per days to have a migration when your hive is at a higher QL next to a wild one. Which would make a lot more hives per servers than the current reports.
Posted December 1, 2016 The issue was addressed with today's update. Closing this for now. Give it a few days and report any new issues with hives in another thread. http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/147628-patch-notes-1dec16/ * Increased the chance of wild hives having a second queen as well as an increased chance of migration to a domestic hive.
