Economic Wars!

Recommended Posts

As fighting system are bad in wurm and will be bad for a long time.

I think this game is more economic build so we need economic wars betwen ppl in freedom servers. We need a leaders boards ,more competition and purpos of making so manny bricks and planks.

I am thinking of some misions pack every month for Solo players, Viallages, Allies or just Solo and Allies+Vilages the reward for winig will be special abilities or bonuses for grinding for next month and place on leader bords.

I am thinking of this like olimpic games when we have a areas of fight. Like Carpentry Smithing Tailoring for Vilage+allies and more complex for Solo players Ship building, Weapon smithing, Leather working...

The misons should be harder for Villages like build a 10 knars and 2 colosus cut down 1k trees or make 200L of wine and more simple like make 100 planks build a chair...

I think the misions should make ppl do some travels and visit other places in island ,like visit 3 deed from list , mine iron ore in NW corner, find lost travler (npc)...

The winner of Solo gets bonus in area he win. Win at WS you get bonus to WS. It can be rare chance rise , higer skill lvl by 10 or some ability to cast 1-5x "Touch of The Master" on item that will incrase QL and cast of item by 5% pernament.

The winer of Alliance can get bonuses for next mont to all ally members like decrese time for 1-2s on making carp items, higher rare chance, ore more skill on grinding.

PPL will get some ponts for every misions. Harder task=more points. I think also of anty-misions every premium player can make some misions to lower other selected player points with maximum number of ponts that can be lowered and the info of hostile actions will be public also the attacked player get instant misson that he can make to avoid point losse. The atack can't be made in 1-7 days before month ends.

The one player or ally can win in limited number of areas 1-3?

I think we also need a leader boards like Niarja in game when of course you can hide you statistic and skill lvl if you want.

This is some of my ideas of making wurm more competive :)

+1 for PvP on PvE, Wurm is not competitive enough imo

LOL, you can see the amount of pve and pvp players, why do you think most prefer to pve and play on such servers, because they took wrong turn before chaos?:mellow:

I don't think that the PvE side of the game can be turned into a "competitive" one. Even if you tie the ability to make silver/RL money into it maybe more people would participate but then it would be more focused upon what the individual could make by participating. What you suggest doesn't seem to me to have much to do with the Wurm economy anyway as that is more focused upon what people can make from playing the game in terms of money. Think about when players gather together for Unique killings or the newer Rifts. They gather for what they can get out if it individually but to do that they need to assemble a number of players together to accomplish it. There is no real competition here other than to prevent others from getting more than they do or individual items that they want.

On the PvE side players will cooperate to accomplish certain things faster than they could do individually or just because they like the company of their friends. Same for most other things like building deeds, boat tunnels, highway projects or Villages. I don't see this as "competition" though and I doubt most players who do these things would want to turn them into one. On the whole they are just contributions to make the individual servers more enjoyable to play upon by either enhancing their functions in some way or improve the surrounding environments.

Naw, I don't think the Wurm PvE side of the game is a competitive one at all, nor should it be attempted to be turned into one. The attraction is that the individual can choose how they want to play it, either mostly on their own or in cooperation with friends. The freedom to chose is I think the attraction here.

=Ayes=

What makes you think that? PvP players get a lot of attention, considering how few they are. A lot of the times, screwing over the PvE players just to fix something on the PvP side, and not the other way around.

When Epic sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing trolls. They're bringing crime. They're griefers. And some, I assume, are good people.

well all those are personal chareteristics of people but it's lit to group them together as a whole under the "epic people" label instead of "another wurm player" you'll go far in life

Also, it's 110% the players fault and not the devs for changes that are put in the game

here's your sign for that one too
