Posted November 1, 2016 Hello Friends! Can anyone give me advice on how to correctly back up my Unlimited creative server please? As of now, I save the Adventure folder and the Creative folder only. I know that moving the Creative folder to another computer via overwrite works to move my server to another computer so I'm wondering if that's all I need to back up my server on a regular basis. Thanks!
Posted November 1, 2016 Just backup the folders with the maps you play (like Creative).
Posted November 2, 2016 That's how I figured it worked, but wanted clarification. Thanks Jukken!
Posted August 28, 2018 Does the server need to be shutdown when doing this, to ensure all databases are closed? I've been doing that when backing up, but lately I've still been seeing database corruption, generally of one or two of the last items I had accessed before the shutdown. Also, what benefit does "Maintenance Mode" offer, other than preventing new logins?

Also using the ingame GM wand command to shut it down, gives the server a better chance of writing everything it need to write to DB/disk.
Posted August 29, 2018 Thanks... I hadn't considered the wand command. I have two servers clustered together. Is there a good way to use the wand on that, or should I pick one (the login server?) to shut down that way?
Posted August 29, 2018 When shutting down select global it shuts the whole cluster down.
