Game locks up and Drops FPS every few minutes

Im on pristine and this issue began end of august just before last 2 rifts

I have toshiba laptop satellite 4gb windows vista ati mobility 3650 512mb video card, all drivers and java is up to date.

Nothing has been added or changed in any way

 

I load game and start to play with 20-28fpsbut every few minutes when i move or run game on my end freezes up and my fps drop to 0 for 3 seconds before it catches up which can make exploring or fighting dangerous as world around me moves normally.,

 

its not an internet issue and run fine on other computers HELP PLEASE game is increasingly unplayable i also sometimes crash soon as i move and horses and other people are now outlines in a THICK Blue outline that shows static outline of npc

Please post a copy of your console lot which can be found in your Wurm directory with a title like console.playername.

I'm not sure if your graphics card can handle the game, but I did find a post with someone with the same card who was given advice to check the minecraft users forum with a similar problem.

well it cant just be my laptop i tried my girlfriends which has a integrated intel card and had same issues

Integrated cards aren't the best for Wurm. They are only so powerful and integrated Intel's have issues of their own when it comes to Wurm. If there's a static lag in the area that comes every now and then, I would look at environmental factors. The load of the objects, lighting, shadows, etc. in specific areas will affect the FPS. I can use my GTX 970 but at a unique slaying where there are upwards of 50+ or if I go through an area with lots of animated or shiny objects, even I experience lag or a FPS drop on a $1400 modern gaming desktop. Are there any large density areas like this where you are experiencing the lag or is it just happening arbitrarily? If so, I would point out that the integrated chips, the amount of VRAM and RAM, and the multi-tasking you are doing on either computer may play a part in this. I know on my girlfriend's laptop, she has a quad core processor with 6GB RAM with integrated and she still only gets between 15-20 FPS in non-dense areas with all settings on low, shadows disabled. Once we get into a dense area she can drop to 5-10 FPS. The situation only gets worse if she has chrome/firefox open in the background listening to music, etc.

 

Not saying this is the issue or the only issue, just some food for thought.

well i tried mobility modder and new catalyst software and now i cant even open wurm and play it. i uninstalled mobility modder and catralyst software and still cant open the game now and play it. nothing else was changed and java is up to date
