Posted September 23, 2016 If your machine is 64 bit, be sure you have 64 bit java installed and wurm is using that java and not the 32 bit if you have both. Here is a good explanation as to how to assure wurm is using the 64 bit java: http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/138547-how-to-make-wurm-use-64bit-java-stops-crashing-in-most-cases/ Another thing to check is that you have the latest graphics drivers from the manufacturer's site, not the windows versions. My drivers are all up to date,, check my java is 64 bit for earlier mentioned config.. check both unstable and stable client cause said crashes check both c++ and directx have been removed and reisntalled and again repaired check i have configured with shaders or whatever that makle the water look good to be turned off check i dont know what else to do besides what i have done.... i havent written java in 20 years so that is out of the question but please tell what i can do on my end to provide you with what data you need to fix this for me and others who cant play..its not like this game is taxing.. my system plays the witcher 3 wild huint, fallout 4 and grand theft auto 5 without even a hiccup..so please.... and just in case someone bothered to read this these crashes are now occuring at all moments and are not limited to action based events. Posted September 24, 2016 The reason I suggested 64 bit java is that when Wurm is using the 64 bit version, the log would show something like this: Jvm version: 25.31-b07 (Oracle Corporation) [Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM] Your log above is showing this: Jvm version: 25.101-b13 (Oracle Corporation) [Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM] (Ignore the version number, I grabbed an old log.) So while you may have 64 bit on your machine, wurm may be using the 32 bit. If you have 32 bit on your machine, you can try removing it leaving only the 64 bit to see if Wurm stops crashing. Then if needed, you can reinstall the 32 bit version as well. Or you can try forcing wurm to use the 64 bit. Others have found that uninstalling 32 and just having 64 bit worked for them. Posted September 24, 2016 i am sorry i guess.. i explained wwrong the first message is based on 32 bit usage but then the second message i put came after using the 64 bit forcved method you described and i am still crashing.. i thought that was clear in my second message... Please use 64 bit java and log into the game. When you crash, please go to your console log and post it here in full so that all the details are included.
