EREB ALTOR (PvE) and MARJURA (PvP) - Dedicated servers 24/7 (x2/x2 setting, custom map and graphics)

Recommended Posts

http://erebaltor.ddns.net/double_logo3.png

Custom hand-made WU maps. Made to resemble the lands from the roleplaying game Dragons and Demons (Drakar och Demoner).

The servers are running on two standalone dedicated servers, online 24/7 - always.

Ereb Altor (PvE) is 8192 x 8192 tiles big

Marjura (PvP) is 2048 x 2048 tiles big.

Ereb Altor is the login server. You may select to go to Marjura when starting out, or you can travel there in a ship.

There are quite a lot of storydriven mission/quests, for those who want to undertake some investigations and adventures.

I never played D&D even thou I have the original package.

However I found this server because of the name Marjura, I am reading the novels atm.

Are the banners related to Erik Granströms world and countries?

Is this a RP server or just inspired by that game world?

The banners are from the original game. (and I made the flags and wagons to have the same type of look).

It is not a hardcore roleplaying server, it's a "fun playing wurm" server.

Players starting on out Ereb Altor can now select which weapon they want as their starter weapon, not just longsword.

Survival mod has been added to Marjura - it's an even colder and more harsh place now ;)

Good to see this one is still going. A long term and stable server indeed.

Having been on this server for nearly a year now, I suppose it's about time I did some cheerleading/advertising. It really does have everything you need; 2x/2x so it's a proper marathon rather than a sprint, dozens of missions to keep you occupied even if you do get bored, a lot of varied terrain, an attached PvP server with a survival mod (haven't been there myself yet), and a discord server for out-of-game communication. The map is huge; the only thing it (and the server in general) really lacks is players to fill it with. So come and join us; there's a player-made sort-of town to the north of Entika where you can build your own place to start off, or if islands are more your thing you can come join me in Trakorien, or you can strike out into the (vast and untamed) wilderness on your own; there's plenty of space. I can't recommend this place highly enough; I've been on and off in my presence sometimes, but I know I'll still be here for a long time to come.

For people who are afraid of a server going away, Ereb Altor has been around over four years and isn't going anyplace. Come join us.
