Can't load JVM.DLL

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any idea why one of my machines can't load up the dedicated server? Two other machines work just fine.

It has latest java installed.

Wurm dedicated server updated through steam (just like the other machines).

The jvm.dll file is in C:\wurm_server\runtime\bin\server

there is also one in C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_101\bin\server

Still, the server will not launch.

I'm not sure there, that seems to be a general failure to start. Ensure the version in your Program Files directory isn't write restricted by accident; or maybe you have the UAC set too strict since it appears to be a windows environment and you need to start Wurm as Administrator.

Other than those things which I recommend checking first, only thing I could think of is reinstalling Java so that the registry is re-updated with the location of the JVM file.

If I choose to Start as Administrator - same thing.

I have re-installed java..no change.

I can run another java-program, such as Mapviewer. Workes fine.
